Locked and loaded for 20,000 points

It's been a hectic race to win that last prize (Samsung 42" LED TV) in the LeapFish Cash Dash contest by earning 20,000 points, but I'm locked and loaded!

Yesterday, I posted about how I temporarily jumped into the lead, regaining first place. But it was only temporary. Soon after, Willie Ford Jr has some additional points approved and I was once again bumped down into second place.

Here are the leaderboard stats as of this post:

Wes Novack19235 points
Willie Ford Jr19195 points
Joe Colburn11270 points

As you can see, I have regained the lead number one position in the contest! Now that's what I like to see!

So I am at 19,235 points. Not too far from 20,000, huh? No sir-ee. AND, I am "locked and loaded" for 20,000 points. What does that even mean? It means that I have submitted or "reported" additional points earning activities, that if all are approved, will bump me up over the 20,000 points threshold.

I'm very excited to finally achieve this highest point level and win one of the Samsung TV's. I recently installed a surround sound system in my home and this new Samsung TV will go perfectly with it!

I've put in a TON of time and effort to get all of these points and I'm glad that it will be paying off, thanks to LeapFish.

It's not too late to enter! And they'll still be giving away cash prizes as long as more people set their homepage to LeapFish.com. Register for the contest for free simply registering here.

Back up to first and then again back into second again

More LeapFish Cash Dash points have been rolling in today. Yesterday, I dropped into second place, and while that is not really so bad, my competitive nature still makes me want to maintain the top number one spot.

Today, more points were approved and there was a short timeframe where I was catapulted back into the number one spot. Then, a few minutes later, Willie Ford Jr had more points approved and regained the number one position. It is definitely getting competitive at the top spot! Even so, I'm doing my best to ensure that I will be one of the winners of the Samsung LED TV. It will go great with my new 5.1 surround sound system that I just installed in my living room. :-)

Here's what the leader board looks like as of this post:

Willie Ford Jr18935 points
Wes Novack18835 points
Joe Colburn11270 points

As you can see, I'm pretty close to Willie Ford Jr, at exactly 100 points behind. This blog post itself should provide another one hundred points to help me catch up and I'm working on some other things as well to help me get to the 20,000 point tier. Samsung TV here I come!

Joe Colburn is still in third with around eleven thousand points, but he is still dangerous! I'm keeping an eye on his YouTube videos and I see he's still getting lots of views, so I feel like he could catapult up into the 1 or 2 spot at any time due to YouTube view point awards.

Hopefully by tomorrow I will have regained the number one top spot in this lovely contest, the LeapFish $100,000 Cash Dash. You can sign up for the contest free here: http://bit.ly/leapfishwin

And I've lost the lead position!

It's June 1st, approximately 8:40PM. I just checked out the Leaderboard on the LeapFish Cash Dash site and somehow, I have lost the lead in the contest! I suppose I shouldn't be totally surprised by this. Willie Ford Jr has been pretty close and nipping at my heels the whole way, but still, I guess I am a bit startled to see the lead lost.

Here are the LeapFish Cash Dash leaderboard stats as of this post:

Willie Ford Jr18635 points

Wes Novack18205 points

Joe Colburn11270 points

As you can see, Willie Ford Jr is number 1, I'm very close in the number 2 spot and Joe Colburn is in the number 3 spot. I've held on to the lead for the past 3 weeks or so, but the I have finally been de-throned by another contestant.

I really have no idea how Willie Ford Jr is getting all of his points. I see he has one LeapFish video that has 1,733 views (as of today), so he's not getting the one thousand views points and he's not submitting a ton of new videos to get video points. Perhaps he's just blogging about LeapFish a lot and getting a lot of referrals? Who knows.

Joe Colburn is definitely a threat at number 3. He has been amassing huge amounts of views on his LeapFish YouTube videos, which will help to keep his point totals increasing more and more.

What I'm more intrigued by is the number 4 and number 5 positions, which LeapFish doesn't disclose. You see, the first three contestants to reach 20,000 points will win a Samsung LED TV, but since the LeapFish crew doesn't list the number four and number five positions, I have no idea if there are others that might be a threat to me obtaining one of the top three slots for the Samsung TV prize.

In any case, I certainly plan on winning that Samsung LED TV! And the LeapFish Cash Dash contest rolls on....

15,000 points passed & Apple MacBook Pro won!

Well hellooooooooo LeapFish Cash Dash contestants and interested parties! I am very happy to announce that I have passed the 15,000 point tier and won myself an Apple MacBook Pro! This is so very awesome.

I was the first to achieve 15,000 points in the LeapFish Cash Dash, but Willie Ford Jr wasn't far behind and he has now also achieved MacBook Pro winning status. Joe Colburn is still rounding up the leaderboard and I expect him to hit 15,000 points in the near future.

I was actually a bit worried about whether or not I was going to win an Apple MacBook Pro. You see, I went on vacation, out of town, from May 7th - May 15th. That is a long time to be out of action in a "cash dash" contest. I was worried that some other contestants might sneak by and win all the prizes while I was gone.

However, before I left, I put in a LOT of work, creating content and trying to earn as many points as possible to get to the 15,000 point tier. That work has paid off! And, my worries were for naught. No one has stepped up to rocket themselves past the current 3 leaders and I still have a great chance at winning the Samsung LED TV, which I have to be one of the first 3 contestants to achieve 20,000 points to win.

Getting some competition at the top

In yesterday's LeapFish Cash Dash update, I wrote about how I took the lead in the contest, even after having a late start. Yesterday I was the sole person up at over 10,000 points, earning myself an iPad. Joe Colburn was next at 6,340 points and Willie Ford Jr at 5,355 points.

The Cash Dash is heating up at the top of the pack!  Today, the story is a bit different, Willie Ford Jr has joined the 10,000 point club with me and Joe Colburn has jumped up some points as well.

Here are the current standings as of this blog post:

Leaderboard
Wes Novack10515 points
Willie Ford Jr10205 points
Joe Colburn6340 points

I'm not really sure how Willie Ford Jr is earning his points, so it actually surprised me that he jumped up that high into 2nd place.

I've continued to create content: blog posts, tweets, videos and more, which I hope will boost me over the 15,000 point threshold once all my content is reviewed (and hopefully approved) by the LeapFish Cash Dash team.

I noticed that Joe Colburn did a Cash Dash update video and gave me a shoutout in the video, which was cool to see. I learned about the contest from Joe and I'm sure he's happy to see me winning some prizes along with him.

So again, if you wanna join the rat-race, it's still possible. I started in the contest way late, but now I'm on top (for now). To enter the LeapFish Cash Dash contest, simply register here.

Andddd I take the lead!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I spent all day last Friday and many hours over the past weekend creating content for the LeapFish Cash Dash contest. All that hard work has payed off today when my point totals were pushed over 10,000 this morning, securing me one of the 3 Apple iPads that were up for grabs!

Here are the LeapFish Cash Dash leaderboard standings as of this blog post:

Leaderboard
Wes Novack10315 points
Joe Colburn6340 points
Willie Ford Jr5355 points

I have created a ton of videos and other content (tweets, blog posts, etc) about LeapFish, which has allowed me to catch up to the leaders in this race, or "Cash Dash".

I gotta say thanks to LeapFish for putting on this contest and for offering up such great prizes. I'm highly looking forward to getting my hands on my shiny new Apple iPad!

I've had a chance to test out and play with an iPad before, thanks to a friend who brought one to lunch one day. I found it to be very easy to use, well designed and very functional.

But even though I've won an iPad, I'm not gonna sit back and call it quits. The LeapFish Cash Dash still has Apple MacBook Pro's, Samsung 42" LED TV's and cash purses all available.

I'll continue trucking away at the contest, trying my best to accumulate as many points as possible.

And once again, I'd like to mention that it's not too late for  YOU to enter! If nothing else, you'll be entered into the cash drawings, for a chance to win some free moolah. How can you pass that up?

LeapFish Cash Dash update

In this post, I'll be discussing my standings on the LeapFish Cash Dash contest.

I entered the contest last Thursday, starting out in last place (obviously). With the top 3 leaders all near 5,000 points, I was distressed and concerned, wondering if I would be able to catch up to the leaders who all had a good head start. Yet, still, I pushed on ahead and I have now been bumped up to 1st place in the Cash Dash. Here are the current standings as of this post:

Wes Novack6525 points
Joe Colburn5800 points
Willie Ford Jr5255 points

How did I do it? Simply by creating content. As I explained in my LeapFish Cash Dash Intro post, you mostly gain points by creating content. Whether that content be tweets, blog posts, videos or linking to LeapFish from your website. Content is a very important aspect of the contest.

There is also the referral aspect though. You gain 30 points for every person that you refer to sign up for the Cash Dash, so the more people you refer, the higher your point totals are boosted. I've posted about the LeapFish Cash Dash just about everywhere I can think of, attracting friends and referrals to sign up for the giveaways.

So that's it. There's really no mystery or "trick" to what I'm doing. It's just plain ol hardwork, time and effort. Even with this post, I'm creating content for the contest and LeapFish is hoping that you do too.
